Casa Real Del Soto De Roma

Casa Real Soto de Roma it is one of the most beauty and romantic places in granada to celebrate a wedding.

This house is located little more than a 20 kilometer outside of granada city. It is a small palace with lovely gardens and exotic trees.

From here the Soto de Roma estate, an old country property of the Nasrid kings of Granada, was governed. Before it became property of the Church of the Incarnation, the Royal House was also the parish church of Fuente Vaqueros.

The Royal House was rebuilt by Lord Wellington as a mansion in the purest English “gotic revival” style, emerged in a moment of romanticism and nostalgic look of the medieval past, resulting in a curious mixture of Spanish rural style and English civil Gothic.

It is a building of unique character for Fuente Vaqueros and Granada, not only because of its historical connotations, but because it is the one with the greatest architectural value.

The descendants of the Duke were selling the plots progressively and, currently, the Royal House is preserved after having undergone a restoration process by its current owner.  Now it is managed by one of the best catering of granada la borraja, who surprise us with typical dishes with a modern touch.
