A Family-Centred Wedding at la Viborilla

When your wedding day is about more than just the two of you

Some weddings are remembered not only for the vows, the flowers or the beautiful location, but for the people and sometimes the your pets your four legged family members  who make the day truly yours.

In May 2026, we had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding at Restaurante La Viborilla in Benalmádena, Costa del Sol, where family played a very special role throughout the celebration.

Set beside the Mediterranean, La Viborilla is a wonderful setting for an intimate and relaxed wedding, with its tropical gardens, terraces and views over the sea. But on this particular day, it wasn’t just the location that made the wedding special.

The whole family was part of the story

The couple’s children were an important part of the celebration, sharing some of the most meaningful moments of the day with their parents. And then there was another very special member of the family…   Their dog.

Dressed especially for the occasion, he wasn’t simply a guest watching from the sidelines. He was right there in the middle of the celebration, sitting beside his family, sharing the moment and becoming part of the wedding memories. And honestly, these are the photographs we love, not because everything is perfectly posed, but because they show who you really are as a family.

Your children are part of your wedding story

When your children are part of your wedding day, they don’t simply watch from the sidelines. They experience every emotion with you. At this beautiful wedding at Restaurante La Viborilla we captured dauther emotion in their eyes as they watched their parents get married, the tears, the smiles and the beautiful complicity they shared with each other.

And then, just as naturally, the youngest went from being completely immersed in the emotion of the day to simply being a child, playing in the sand and enjoying the celebration in her own little world. These are also the moments we love to photograph. The tears. The laughter. The connection between siblings. The little moments of childhood happening alongside the biggest moments of your life.

Because when you look back at your wedding photographs years from now, you won’t only want to remember how you looked. You’ll want to remember how your family felt. Because your children aren’t simply guests at your wedding. They are part of your story.
